CEO Message 47th Anniversary Sompo Insurance Indonesia

Dear Customers, Business Partners, and Friends,

Sompo Insurance Indonesia established its presence in Indonesia in 1975 and has since become one of Indonesia’s leading non-life insurers, closely tied to the rapid growth of the Indonesian economy.

This year, we celebrate our 47th anniversary. It is a privilege and an honor to enjoy the advantages of a company that is rich with its committed, spirited employees; and yet old enough to be wise, experienced, and mature. We owe our success and growth over these four decades in Indonesia to our partners, agents, brokers, intermediaries, customers, and our people.

Despite the challenges faced in the past 2 years, we were able to deepen our relationships with our partners who were committed to weathering this storm together. We stayed true to our purpose and continued to provide fast, simple, and innovative solutions to our customers with the aim of bringing them greater peace of mind. Together, we have been able to achieve significant growth as we continue to strengthen our operational and financial bases.

It is also particularly gratifying to be celebrating this anniversary as Indonesia continues her recovery and growth trajectory. We are proud and ready to champion the government’s clarion call to support, facilitate and strengthen the economy and progress sharia finance. As we forge ahead, we will continue to invest in new technology and capabilities to further improve and enhance our product and service portfolio; providing the best solutions to serve the needs of our customers.

The journey hasn’t been easy. It takes courage, passion, boldness, and perseverance. The pursuit of our goals is made possible through our people who are committed to maintaining the highest of standards and quality in the work that we do. As Sompo Insurance Indonesia celebrates its 47th anniversary, let us toast our teammates, agents and partners who have helped us uphold our commitment to always put customers first and provide better access to insurance for Indonesians everywhere.

Finally, from the bottom of my heart – thank you to our customers, who continue to put their faith and trust in us. We will not waver in our mission to provide best-in-class solutions with the aim of providing peace of mind to all those who partner with us.
