SOMPO JAPAN NIPPONKOA WELFARE FOUNDATION TOGETHER WITH SII GRANT CSR PROGRAM FOR MALARIA
As a form of social contribution by Sompo Japan Nipponkoa Welfare Foundation (SJNKWF) together with PT Sompo Insurance Indonesia (SII), both institutions took part in the Malaria eradication program in the Indonesian society especially in the eastern part of Indonesia. SJNKWF and SII gave a corporate social responsibility fund of IDR 123,500,000 to a Non-Governmental Organization, the Indonesian Association of Voluntary Health Services of Indonesia (PERDHAKI). The ceremony held on Wednesday, February 12, 2020, at SII Head Office, Mayapada Tower 2, South Jakarta. Not only delivering grant, but SII also introduced Malaria Insurance. SII provided Malaria Insurance for free to PERDHAKI employees at its head office, Jakarta. Both activities were also part of SII’s contribution as one of the pioneering partners of the M2030 Movement (eradication of Malaria in 2030) in Indonesia.
